Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SewerCostGuide collects, why, and what you can ask us to delete. It is effective 2026-10-12. The site is operated by Chaman Sharma. Contact contact@sewerreplacementcost.com. The contact page describes response times.
Information you give us
The quote form asks for:
- ZIP code
- Problem type (replacement, repair, inspection, or not sure)
- Timeline
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number, which is optional
- A required consent checkbox
We also store the time the form was opened, which we use to reject submissions sent too quickly. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply.
You can read the cost pages without the form. The form is optional.
How quote requests are shared
If you check the consent box, we may share the form details with up to three local plumbers so they can contact you about your project by phone, text, or email. We do not share the form with plumbers unless that box is checked. Consent is not a condition of buying anything.
SewerCostGuide may be paid a referral fee for that introduction. We are not a plumbing company. The form states this before you submit. Details of the commercial relationship are also on the about page.
How long we keep it
We keep quote-form submissions for up to 24 months so we can answer a question about a referral, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. We keep correction emails and privacy emails for as long as needed to resolve them, then delete them.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
If we turn on analytics, we may use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to understand how the site is used. While the analytics ID is empty, that script is not loaded.
Google AdSense, when enabled, uses cookies, including advertising cookies, to serve ads based on prior visits to this site and other sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone's prior visits. While the AdSense publisher ID is empty, the ad script is not loaded and no ad units are rendered.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and via the Digital Advertising Alliance. Those pages are run by third parties, not by us.
We do not sell your personal information.
Deletion requests
Email contact@sewerreplacementcost.com with the address you used on the form and ask us to delete the request. We will confirm once it is done. We may refuse a request that we cannot match to a submission.
The disclaimer covers the limits of the cost information itself. This policy covers data, not plumbing advice.
For the cost pages, start with the sewer line replacement cost guide. Ranges on this site follow the methodology.
