These terms govern your use of SewerCostGuide. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may change the terms; the date on this page is the effective date, 2026-10-12. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Informational use

The site publishes general information about sewer repair and replacement costs in the United States. You may read it for your own personal research. You may not copy the pages in bulk, republish the cost tables as your own, or present the site as a plumbing company.

Estimates are not quotes

Ranges and calculator results are estimates built from published data. They are not a quote, a bid, or an offer to do work. A local plumber's written price is the price for your house. Two houses on the same street can differ. See the methodology for the formula and the disclaimer for the limits.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that a range is complete, current for your city, or fit for a particular decision. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free or always available. Cost data is reviewed on the schedule described in the methodology, not continuously.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Chaman Sharma and SewerCostGuide are not liable for any loss that results from using the site, relying on an estimate, hiring or not hiring a plumber, or filing or not filing an insurance claim. That includes direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential losses. If a law does not allow that limit, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero because the pages are free to read.

The quote form may introduce you to independent plumbers. Their work is their own. A referral fee, if one is paid, does not make us their partner or your contractor.
